Our story

Ostral Play was founded in 2021 by a team of cinema and technology enthusiasts. Starting from the observation that existing platforms often neglected visual quality and the live TV experience, we built Ostral Play from scratch to offer the best of both worlds.

In 2023, we launched our first originals. In 2025, we expanded to 17 European countries. Today, 4.2 million subscribers trust us every month.
